For SAAM 2015, we are proud to announce that applications are now LIVE for our new Social Media Ambassadors Program! NJCASA appreciates the communication and outreach opportunities afforded us through Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April), but we firmly believe that in order to effectively shift the norms that permit and promote rape culture, conversations about sexual violence must extend beyond April. That is why NJCASA is launching the Social Media Ambassadors Program, calling for passionate social media activists to Join the Movement by increasing the visibility of meaningful discussions about sexual violence.

We are seeking volunteers with established social media presence to motivate their communities to talk about sexual violence.  With the Social Media Ambassadors Program, selected individuals will use their connections and personal brand to share, like, comment, and further participate in social media activities to boost the awareness of NJCASA projects and announcements.  Social Media Ambassadors will expand NJCASA’s outreach capacity by engaging their own networks in a collective effort to create positive and safe communities.

To be a part of our pilot program, applications should be submitted by May 8th. Following the screening process, accepted Ambassadors will receive training on NJCASA, sexual violence, and social media guidelines. If you believe your passion and presence qualifies you to become an Ambassador, apply today!

Together, we can create a better world.
