Sexual Violence Program Volunteer Opportunities:

There are sexual violence programs in each county of NJ, plus a program at Rutgers University's New Brunswick Campus. Most centers need volunteer rape care advocates to staff hotlines and accompany survivors to the hospital, police station, and possibly through court procedures. Flexible on-call hours, can be days, nights or weekends. All counties require volunteers to complete training on sexual violence issues. The required hours of training vary by county.

In some counties, volunteers help with fundraising, outreach efforts, office tasks, letter writing and to assist with special events.
