THE MEN'S GROUP

YWCA Rape Crisis Center Offers Men’s Support Group

BERGEN COUNTY– The YWCA of Bergen County Rape Crisis Center is pleased to announce the Men's Support Group for survivors of sexual violence . This weekly 10- session group will be a forum for male survivors to discuss such topics such as trauma, emotions & self esteem, anger, coping mechanisms, relationships and much more. Groups will be held in Bergen County by a professional facilitator.

Description of Group: Each group is limited to 10 persons on a first come first serve basis. Group is not suitable for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (see other group listing). Group Title: Sexual Violence Survivors Group
Description of Group:This group setting provides a safe place for survivors of sexual violence to come together and begin the healing process.  Through sharing their experiences, the survivors discover they are not alone in their emotional pain.  Acceptance, support, empowerment, and validation form the foundation of this group.
