Benefit Concert for NJCASA & the Scholastic Assistance Fund of the Red Bank United Methodist Church
Come enjoy the music stylings of NJCASA Executive Director Andrea Spencer-Linzie, cellist, and Herbert Burtis, pianist. The Benefit Concert will include pieces by Vivaldi, Faure, Ginastera and Grieg.
There will be a good-will offering and proceeds will benefit NJCASA & the Scholastic Assistance Fund of the Red Bank United Methodist Church.
The Concert begins at 3 pm in the Sanctuary with a reception in Fellowship Hall following the event.
Suggested Donation: $15.00
Herbert Burtis has had an international career as a teacher and musician for voice, piano, harpsichord, and organ. Mr. Burtis is a former Director of Music Ministries at the Red Bank United Methodist Church, a post that he held for over 20 years.
Andrea Spencer-Linzie is the Executive Director of the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault and a past scholarship recipient from the Red Bank United Methodist Scholastic Assistance Fund. She was principal cellist for the Wesleyan University Orchestra and has played with numerous symphonies, pit orchestras and ensembles.
